Mercury in 11th house

Out of twelve houses, that represents various aspects of human existence, eleventh house has always been considered auspicious in terms of gains of material nature .This is the house of hopes and new desires .If we see in progression, eleventh house will come after the tenth, which looks obvious if from the viewpoint of basic mathematics, so is that it? not actually. When we pass through tenth house ,it represents the domain of one’s Karma, where one interacts with different variety. After successful journey through tenth house, as a result of experiencing contrast ,new hopes and desire to explore something fresh is  born and that’s where zone of eleventh house starts.

A young girl is going on a vacation sitting in a train, pretty excited .Earphones are plugged ,her mind is constantly bombarded with loud music .With laptop placed on her legs, a movie is being downloaded, at times she is also giving attention to the movie which is already running on her computer. She just updated her status on  a social networking site and her phone rings, she stops the music for a while and picks up the call in great hurry as it was her cousin’s  call, with whom she was so close. In her conversation she is telling her plans in details ,I am going on a vacation with three of my college friends ,oh my god I have never visited Himalayas before ,we will do tracking and its gonna be great fun ,I just can’t tell you how crazy m feeling right now !!.

Even for a moment if you have realized what this girl was experiencing, you have entered the domain for eleventh house Mercury .Never ending appetite to be in trend. High on technology use, which again stems from the fact that one wants to remain in sync with the current trends .Huge number of friends is a common thing and such people are known for their cool nature in their social circles .For these people developing huge social network is important, quality of friends seldom matters. They primarily look for the people who are fun to be with .Its obvious to talk about friends when we enter 11^th house, but what it signifies in subtle ways?.These people want someone to hear their plans, so that they can use them as reflecting mirrors in  their life. They try to see reflection of their own hopes and desires in others, which help them filter out their choices .This all happens unconsciously.

Traditionally Mercury is said to be messenger of Gods ,which means it always is eager to convey his thoughts .Its position in eleventh house makes one popular and one is known for his wit and humor, obviously we are talking of a Mercury which is in quite healthy state. These people have creative mind, which is ever on to explore new destinations. These people always have some plan ready in their minds and they are quite concerned  how things are going to happen in future. They think, act and speak in hurry ,with typical trait of Mercury to experience variety ,it actually doesn’t matter what lie in front of them as some imaginative world always exists for them, as if they are just coming back seeing the Harry Potter movie .Their love life is quite colorful, as they look for the partner who can sustain their interest with aliveness in personality. Depending on other factors, for some intellectual bent of mind seems quite attractive, for others it might be just plain drive to experience a new relationship, as they rely tremendously on their hopes for a brighter future, which at times turn out to be elusive .Mercury in 11^th house when in power is a great boon for a chart and indicates an individual who climbs up the ladder quite fast in terms of their personal as well as professional lives, with constant experiences of new domains.
